“Creekside Angling has been a part of the development of the water resources for Esty Ranch over the past several years. They have designed, permitted and conducted several river flow, bank stabilization and irrigation projects on the Gunnison River as well as Tomichi Creek and Cochetopa Creek. Their work assisted us in our efforts to protect the banks from erosion and enhance water flow for improved function of our irrigation system for our hay meadows and our other agricultural needs through installation of structures for improved water flow and bank stabilization. Creekside Angling and Environmental is professional from their initial discussions, estimate process, project work, reliability and final review and kept our best interest and the integrity of the land at top of mind throughout the process. Chris’ knowledge of hydrology and experience with river restoration and irrigation, as well as his work ethic, has benefited the ranch and its operations over the years.”

“Creekside Angling has been an integral part of the development of our Gunnison River Property. They have designed, permitted, and built several fish habitat structures on over ½ mile of the Gunnison River. Several sections of the river restoration efforts completely changed the trout habitat. These changes restored the river into a performance fishery. In addition to the stream restoration Creekside also built bridges, installed irrigation structures and completed bank stabilization projects. Aside from the river work they also cleared the non-functioning forest which has greatly increased the wildlife on our property. Overall, Creekside Angling demonstrates a deep understanding of aquatic resources and always completes the projects on time and on budget. “

“Chris and his team helped us with a fairly complex project to build a pond fed by the East River. They were very attentive to details and took complete ownership in the work. More importantly, Chris is a creative problem solver which is crucial when you embark on an ambitious project like this. The pond is now full of happy trout and Chris on his own initiative and time has kept an eye on their development when we’re not in Crested Butte. He continues to check in to make sure we are completely satisfied with the work, and I know he’ll always be there with a good answer or a creative solution as the pond and fish mature.”
