A Regional General Permit was obtained from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to restore the river after prolonged runoff season transported sediment and destroyed the river banks affecting the agricultural operations. The stream banks were stabilized using boulder jetties and j-hooks that also enhanced the fish habitat.
